Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam and CEM Select.
Exam types:
English
Maths
CEM Select (verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning and numerical reasoning)
Exam lengths:
60 minutes (CEM Select)
45 minutes (maths)
30 minutes (English)
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass-mark for the admission test. On completion of the test, all candidates will receive an age adjusted and standardized score.
Other exam information:
The CEM Select is an online assessment test which will assess maths, verbal and non-verbal reasoning.
The English paper examines the comprehension and writing skills of the student.
An interview will be run by a member of the senior leadership team.
All questions will align with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum but a few questions in the English and maths papers will be at a ‘working towards greater depth’ level.
The entrance examinations take place in the January of year 6.
A non-refundable registration fee of £50 is required.
