New 11+ practice papers are sent out via email every Friday. You can sign up to receive these, every week, using the form above.
Exam Information
Exam style — Atom Learning
Exam types:
English
Maths
Verbal reasoning
Non-verbal reasoning
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the exam but 50% of Royal Russell Junior School’s pupils progress into Year 7 meaning only half of their places are available via the entrance exams.
Other exam information:
Registration closes in November, the year before entry.
Assessments and interviews start in January, with offers being released in February.
Your child will be invited to an assessment day which involves the exams, an interview and the participation in an activity of their choice.
A report from your child’s current school is required to assess academic ability and character, which factors into the application process.
