Revision Materials
There are a number of revision materials and resources that can be used to help you with your exam preparation. The functional skills maths level 2 revision materials cover all aspects of the qualification from decimals, percentages and fractions, through to tricky ratio questions. You can work through the practice materials to help you gain confidence in all the different topic areas. The functional skills English level 2 revision materials work in a similar way.
Once you are feeling more confident with the maths and English practice questions, you can move onto the functional skills past papers. Along with the free past papers, you may also want to consider purchasing additional functional skills maths practice papers, which are printed and delivered directly to your door. All papers are exam style papers and up to exam standard however, all questions are original to ensure you receive as much valuable practice as possible before the exam day.
As well as the practice papers, you may also find the revision card sets useful. Revision cards can be a great way to revise on the go or if you only have a spare 10 minutes. There are a number of different exercises you can complete to really propel your revision forward. Firstly, you can split the card sets into two piles, areas you do versus do not know very well, then work through them, testing yourself on the weaker areas. You can also use the cards for additional practice as each card topic comes with practice questions on the back.
At The Exam Coach we are happy to help all those looking to obtain a GCSE, whether that be a GCSE itself or a GCSE equivalent such as the functional skills level 2 qualification.
