11 Plus Exam Pass Mark and Target Score
The pass mark for each year is decided after the tests have been marked.
An average of the two GL Assessment papers (maths and English) is used to rank each child as either A, B or C.
An A ranking means that your child has passed the tests and can apply for a place at the school.
A B ranking means that your child has passed the tests and can apply for a place at the school. Your child's rank in the tests means that he may be put on the waiting list for a place in Year 7.
A C ranking means that your child has not qualified and cannot be considered for a place at this selective school.
All candidates must also pass the school written English writing paper to be considered eligible.
Other Exam information
The English and maths papers are multiple choice.
Students will sit three papers, each lasting 45-50 minutes.
