New 11+ practice papers are sent out via email every Friday. You can sign up to receive these, every week, using the form above.
Exam Information
Exam style — School’s own exam.
Exam types:
Mathematics
English
Verbal Reasoning
Non-Verbal Reasoning
Creative Writing
Exam length — 95 minutes total - 75 minutes (main exam) + 20 minutes (creative writing).
Pass mark — There is no fixed pass mark for the admissions test.
Other exam and entry information:
The online registration form must be filled out before the November of Year 6 alongside a non-refundable registration fee of £125.
The assessment exams will be sat in the January of Year 6.
The mail 75 minute exam is split into two parts with a 10-minute break in the middle.
Part 1 - maths and non-verbal reasoning (35 minutes).
Part 2 - English and verbal reasoning (30 minutes).
The creative writing exam asks students to create a piece of writing based on a picture.
Reed's School will request references and predicted grades from the applicant's current school.
Applicants will also be invited to sit a 10-minute interview with a member of the teaching staff as part of the admissions process. This will take place on the same day as the entry exams.
Successful candidates will be sent offers by February and the acceptance forms must be returned by the closing date.
