Other exam information:
The online CEM Select pretest examines Verbal, Non-Verbal and Numerical Ability in short, timed sections.
The English paper tests comprehension and writing skills.
The maths paper tests problem-solving abilities and arithmetic skills.
The science paper tests basic scientific skills.
There is also an interview that is conducted by the headmistress.
The assessments occur in two stages: the online test is done on the assessment day at the Down house school, then the three common entrance papers are done in each of the applicant’s previous school.
